Bailarn Cellars was created in 2014 by a collective of family and friends with an appreciation for quality wine and a goal to make excellent pinot noir from the Suacci Family Vineyard. This Russian River Valley vineyard is extra special to Bailarin as it is where founding partner Brianne Suacci Sylvia grew up. Her dad John planted the vineyard in 2001 and put his heart and soul in to it to ensure it would produce top quality fruit. That inaugural year, we made 274 cases of pinot noir with the majority of it was from the Suacci vineyard. Our very first Suacci Pinot Noir received a 93 from Wine Enthusiast and our Manchester Ridge scored a 92. In 2015, we added a zinfandel to our lineup and ros and have continued to evolve our offerings ever since. In 2016, we opened a pop-up style Tasting Room within Insight Coffee Roasters at the Pavilions in Sacramento. We poured our wine a few hours on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. In 2018, an opportunity presented to create a full Tasting Room in a historic building in the heart of downtown. Our team welcomed the opportunity and our Tasting Room at 720 K street opened in early 2019. Our neighborhood is full of talented local establishments and continues to grow and evolve each year.
