What is the Cancellation Policy?
We only offer event credits or refunds up to 24 hours before the event start time. We're sorry, but we work hard to provide an even number of men and women and last minute cancellations can greatly affect the gender balance of the event. If you do need to cancel, consider giving your ticket to a single friend of the same age and gender, and please notify us so we can change the guest list. Please don't "no show" it's very unfair to the other Attendees. But let us know as soon as possible if you wish to cancel.
Can I pay at the door?
We're sorry, but we carefully control the number of male and female tickets sold, so you must pre-pay for the event, so we know how many people are going. Beware of companies that take people at the door, they are just hoping enough people, and the right number of men/women show up to hold the event.
I'm having a problem with the checkout.
Please contact us, we may be able to direct you to another way to pay.
Are Meetup RSVPs, or "Get on the List" signups Tickets?
No you can not attend with a Facebook or Meetup RSVP, or any type of free signup such as the free "Get on the List" signup on Eventbrite. A paid registration is required to attend. If you're not sure if you are registered for the event please contact us.
How are refunds processed?
If you wish to cancel your event registration, we offer event credits or refunds up to 24 hours before the event start time. Refunds will be processed within 3 business days, but funds may take an additional 3 days to return to your account in accordance with your bank's policies. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. If a customer no longer has access to that payment method, they must contact the bank or agency to claim the funds after the refund is complete.
I have an event credit or won a Free Event Certificate.
Please email or text us the City/Date/Time of event you wish to attend, and if you won a Free Event Certificate include the cert number.
I purchased a Voucher.
Please text or email us the city/date/time of the event you want to attend along with your Name, Age, Email, Phone, and the Voucher Code. We'll check that a spot is still available and if so will register you and send a confirmation.
I am not in the recommended age group, can I attend?
We want Attendees to be comfortable with the age group they're "dating." A few years over or under is fine, but please choose a Pre-Dating event that generally fits your age range.
I'm visually or physically impaired, can I attend?
Of course! Please contact us as soon as possible so we can make sure the venue is fully accessible, and so we can plan out any accommodations you require.
If I sign up will my information be sold or shared with other companies?
No. Pre-Dating prioritizes the protection of personal information to maintain customer trust. We carefully analyze what information we need for our service and try to limit the information we collect to only what we really need. We do not sell your personal information, and only share it as necessary with service providers such as payment processors.
The event says there is a Bring a Friend Free promotion.
Select events (not all) will list Bring a Male or Female Friend Free promotions, while tickets last. Make sure your friend wants to go and understands this is a valuable ticket, and that we carefully plan out the number of men and women, so it's very important they attend if they register for the ticket. Please text or email us with the event City/Date/Time and your friend's Name, Age, Email, Phone, and we will send them the confirmation if there is a ticket remaining.
Do I need an E-Ticket? I haven't gotten confirmation.
If you have paid for your ticket and gotten an email confirmation you are all set. Your paid registration puts you on the guest list. You do not need an e-ticket or anything else. If you have not received an email confirmation, please contact us for verification.
I registered for the wrong event. How can I change my order?
We can move you to the correct event. Please email or text us as soon as possible with your request. Include the event City/Date/Time that you registered for as well as the correct event information. Note: This must be changed prior to 24 hours before the event.
Is there a dress code?
Nice casual. Maybe a little sexy but not over the top. Many people come directly from work so business casual is common. Be comfortable but polished enough to make a good impression, and smile!
Is dinner included with the event?
No. The event consists of introductions to 5-12 or more potential matches of the opposite gender, facilitated by an in-person Event Host. Drinks, food or other purchases are optional and your responsibility.
How will the matching work?
You'll speak to each person for 6 minutes and circle Let's Talk or No Thanks. We use simple paper and pencil because the point of the event is to get you off your phone and engaged, so we want the matching process to be as easy and distraction free as possible. Make a little note to help you remember each person, such as 'red hair' or 'striped shirt' then before you hand in your sheet take a picture with your phone so you can refer to your notes when you get the matches. Circling 'Lets Talk' signals you want that person to get your contact information.
Will I be photographed at the event?
We almost always take pictures and videos at the events for use in our marketing and social media. However, if you don't wish to be photographed, simply ask the Event Host not to include your face in any pictures and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Will there be enough people, and an equal amount of men & women?
We do our best to keep the number as equal as possible. Usually you'll meet about 10 potential matches. Our Attendance Guarantee States: If you meet less than 5 potential partners, we will provide you with an EVENT CREDIT to a future event.
What do I do when I get to the event?
Show up a few minutes early and look for our friendly Event Host to welcome you. Tell us your name and we'll check you in, give you a name tag, a Match Sheet, and a pen. We'll tell you where to sit and give instructions.
When will I get my matches? Did anyone pick me?
Matches are sent by email and/or text within 24 hours of the end of the event. EVERY Attendee is sent a Match Email even if they have zero matches. Please email or text us if you have not received them within that time. If you have matches they'll receive your email address, and you'll get theirs. We don't share phone numbers - we leave that for you. You’ll likely have one or more matches, but it's not about quantity it's about quality. You may have no matches from your first event and have four at the next.
I want to change my match answers.
Once the matches are sent the information has already gone out, but if the change is very important a correction may be sent. Please email or text us the correction.
I met less than 5 potential matches at the event
We value your time so never schedule an event where you would meet less than 5, but there may be last minute cancellations. Our Attendance Guarantee States: If you met less than 5 potential partners, we will provide you with an EVENT CREDIT to a future event. Please email or text us to request the Credit.
